IGEA

IGEA is the peak industry association representing and advocating for the video games industry in Australia and New Zealand. Our vision is that of a thriving and sustainable local industry along with recognition that video games are one of the most powerful entertainment mediums for enjoyment, connection, education, business, health and creativity.

Screen Australia

The Games Production Fund, Emerging Gamemakers Fund, and the GDC-oriented Future Leaders Delegation were established in October 2023, with support from the Federal Government’s new National Cultural Policy. As part of this policy, Screen Australia has access to a total of AUD $12 million for games funding, provided over four years.

Screenwest

At various times throughout the year, Screenwest will open applications for their 'Digital Games Funding.' These grants fund local developers' projects in pre-production, production and live-ops stages and can range between 25,000 and 100,000 AUD. Rounds will open and close quickly, so be vigilant and check back often!

GDC Vault
